1. Can outside shade structured or canopies be set up at Hancock or Hanna Springs Pools?

NO- These structures are not able to be secured and can blow into other areas causing injury or damage.

2. What is the minimum age for children to be able to swim without adult supervision?

14-17 year old individuals can attend Hanna Springs and Hancock Pools with a signed Parent Authorization Form on file at the Pools.   Click link to download the Parent Authorization Form

3. My child has a cut. Can he/she swim?

No one with open sores may enter the pool.No bandages allowed in pool.

4. Are there any rules concerning floatation devices for children?

All flotation devices must be Coast Guard Approved.

No flotation devices with air will be permitted in the Pools. 

5. What other rules are there?

Rules are posted at the Admissions Stations.

6. If I leave the pool may i come back in?

Yes, we will stamp your hand with our "letter of the day" so you may re-enter with no charge.

7. What food and drinks are allowed at the pools?

Hanna Pool - Water, juice, and fruit are allowed. You and your family may picnic in the park outside of our gates and re-enter to finish your day of swimming.
Hancock Pool - Outside food and drinks are allowed. Families may picnic in the park or inside the gate.
