COVID-19 Update: Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic the City of Lampasas has attempted to provide current information on our website.  Our goal was and continues to be, providing correct information to our citizenry, so that each of you will be able to make well informed decisions during this difficult time.  As we progressed through the last 18 months, information about the virus flowed in a rapid manner and that information was shared as quickly we received it.  As we near the end of the “Pandemic”, we now find that information is shared much slower than in previous months.  There have been many changes at the State and local levels.  Conference call meetings that occurred daily at the beginning of the pandemic, are now scheduled every other week.  During the beginning of the pandemic, Dr. Georgia Hay was in the role of Public Health Official for the County of Lampasas.  At the end of May 2021, Dr. Hay stepped down from that position.  At this time, we are relying on Public Health Region 7 to provide weekly updates on the total amount of patients, active cases, hospitalizations and fatalities in the County of Lampasas.  We will continue to provide links that will allow you to search the current Department of State Health Services website for COVID-19 information as well as current information on vaccinations.  The City of Lampasas is committed to sharing available resources in a clear and transparent manner.
