Not Accepted at Recycle Center:

• Glass
• Ceramics
• Dining ware
• Electronics
• Food soiled items
• Garden hoses
• Laminated paper
• Light bulbs
• Medical waste (syringes, needles, etc...)
• Nails and screws
• Paint cans
• Paper tissue (accepted at local grocers)
• Plastic bags
• Pyrex
• Styrofoam
• Textiles or used clothing (can be donated to thrift stores)
• Tires (Citizens Collection station will accept for a fee)
• Wax coated items
• Window glass
• Yard waste

Options for items NOT accepted at the Recycling Center

• Batteries (non-rechargeable alkaline): Can safely be disposed of with normal household waste.
• Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs): Accepted at Home Depot.
• Computers: Goodwill, Texas Recycles Computers, Consumer Technology Association, MRM E-Cycling Management
• Plastic bags: Wal-Mart and HEB have containers for plastic bags
• TVs: Best Buy, Texas Recycles TVs
• Vehicles: Vehicles for Veterans is a nonprofit vehicle donation program to help benefit disabled veterans.
