    "Classics at the Classic" car group will be participating in the Carol of Lights event on December 5, 2020 at 11am with Covid-19 protocols in place. Vintage automobiles from different decades will be parked at the Lampasas County Courthouse Square. Contact 512-734-5180.

  3. Lampasas Snow Queen Pageant

    The Snow Queen Pageant was born out of the idea to give girls something to participate in locally. This years pageant will be on December 5, 2020 at 11am and 1pm.

    On December 5, 2020, from 3-5pm, drive by the Library park area to drop off your letter to Santa, get a treat, and wave at Mrs. Claus in the tree house! Mrs. Claus will deliver the letters to Santa at the North Pole.

  6. Holiday Tour of Homes

    December 6, 2020, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Lampasas County Museum

    Tour five sites on this year's Holiday Tour of Homes on December 6, 2020 from 1-5pm. Tickets are $10 per person 12 and over and will be sold only at the Museum Friday - Sunday, Dec. 4-6. Please note that the Museum reserves the right to cancel the tour if COVID-19 restrictions require. Social distancing must be observed at the Museum and at each site, and masks must be worn. Hand sanitizer will be available. Watch the Lampasas Dispatch Record each week for information on individual sites on the tour. This event is a fundraiser for the Museum.

    Please join us for our annual Holiday lunch and Toy Drive on December 14, 2020 from 11am-2pm. Police Chief Sammy Bailey, Fire Chief Jeff Smith, and Staff invite you to celebrate the warmth of the season. The health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance to us. Lunch will be served drive thru style at the Lampasas Fire Department located at 1107 E. 4th Street in Lampasas. We will be accepting new, unwrapped toys, or monetary gifts to assist the Lampasas Fire Department with their annual toy drive.

  11. Fire Department Drive-Thru Toy Handout

    December 19, 2020, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Lampasas Fire Department

    The Lampasas Fire Department is accepting new toys, bikes, or monetary donations for the annual Fire Department toy drive November 15-December 17, 2020. Donations can be dropped off at the Fire Department Monday through Sunday from 8am-5pm until December 17th. However, if you miss these dates no donation will be turned down. Please do not wrap the toys so that they may be disbursed to the age appropriate child. The fire department will also take tax deductible donations year round. This money goes towards the Christmas fund to help those families who are in need of assistance, you can pick up the required form at our local churches. All requests need to be turned in by 5:00pm on Friday, December 11, 2020. The Drive-Thru Toy handout will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Lampasas Fire Department from 7am-11am. Thank you Lampasas for your continued support!
