The Airport Advisory Board meets the second Wednesday of each month, if needed, at the Jack Calvert Municipal Building. The Airport Advisory Board studies and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding operations and facility improvements if the municipal airport. The Board ensures that the municipal airport is efficiently and adequately meeting the needs of the City and the air transportation industry.
Library Board tentatively meets the second Monday of every month, except in July.
City Council Chambers
City Council meets the second and fourth Monday of every month with Workshop Sessions beginning at 5:30 p.m. and Regular Sessions beginning at 6 p.m.
The Lampasas Economic Development Board meets the third Wednesday of each month, if needed, at the Calvert Municipal Building. The EDC Board is responsible for promoting the economic development of the community through the coordinated actions of the City and the Chamber of Commerce.
The Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals Board meets the third Thursday of each month, if needed, at the City Council Chambers. The Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals Board hears appeals of decisions and interpretations of the Building Official; considers variances and special exceptions of the technical codes; reviews Building Regulations; reviews the adopted building, gas, mechanical, plumbing, energy, maintenance and residential codes; and makes recommendations to the City Council.
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meets the third Thursday of each month, if needed, at the Calvert Municipal Building. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board aids and assists the City administration in procuring financial and other assistance for the improvement of public parks and recreation facilities from state and federal government and their agencies. This board considers other parks and recreation policies and capital issues as assigned by the City Council.
The Zoning Board of Adjustments meets the third Tuesday of every month, if needed at the City Council Chambers. The ZBA makes decisions on appeals from determinations made by the Building Official, and regarding special exceptions and specific variances.
