  1. Painted Chair Fundraiser

    December 18, 2017 - February 1, 2018 @ Lampasas Public Library

    Calling all artists! We are seeking individuals or groups to paint book-themed chairs! This project is undertaken to create community awareness and involvement with the Lampasas Public Library and to fund the Summer Reading Program through an arts-based fundraising project culminating in an auction of artisan-painted/crafted book-themed chairs. To sign up as an artist, please return a completed Artist Agreement to the library by February 1, 2018. The form is available at the library or you may download the attached form on the link provided in this event. If you would like one emailed to you, please contact the library at library@cityoflampasas.com. Important dates: March 19 - Deadline to email narrative to library March 24 - Deadline to deliver painted chair to library March 26 - April 6 - Chairs on display at area businesses April 7 - Chairs auctioned off at Bloomin' Fest

    The Lampasas Economic Development Board meets the third Wednesday of each month, if needed, at the City Administration Building located at 312 E. Third Street at 5:30 p.m. The EDC Board is responsible for promoting the economic development of the community through the coordinated actions of the City and the Chamber of Commerce.
