Lampasas Recycling Center Opens

The Citizen's Recycling Center will be available to all Lampasas residents  beginning Wednesday, December 5, 2018. The Recycling Center will be operated in conjunction with the Citizen's Collection Station at the Public Works Facility located at 201 Brown Street. The hours of operation will be Wednesday - Friday 10am to 3pm and on Saturdays from  9am to noon.  

The recycling is designed as a "single-stream" recycling program, which means all recyclables can be placed in a single container and there is not a need to separate them. The center will accept, cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminum and tin cans. GLASS is not accepted through the program which is offered through Waste Connections.
