NOTICE ON 2008/2009 PROPOSED BUDGET AND PUBLIC HEARINGS

Due to a printing error, an incorrect copy of the Proposed 2008/2009 General Fund Budget was posted on the City's website.  The correct copy of the Proposed General Fund Budget was posted on the website as of Wednesday, September 3, 2008.  Two Public Hearings for the 2008/2009 Proposed Budget will be held at the City Council Chambers, located at 405 South Main Street, on September 8 and September 22 at 7:00 p.m.

CANNONBALL!!!! Hanna Springs Pool Will Open Saturday, August 30 -

City Manager Michael Stoldt fulfilled his KCYL radio show promise to 'Big Joe' to do a 'cannonball' at the Hanna Springs Pool.  Hanna Springs Pool will open Saturday, August 30.  Pool hours are Saturdays, 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The pool will remain open during weekends until the end of September, staff permitting.

City Council Selects July 2008 Photo Contest Winner -

The Lampasas City Council selected the July 2008 photo contest winner at the July 11 meeting.  The winning participant was Torie Ritter.  The winner was awarded a City of Lampasas ball cap and posting of the photo on the City of Lampasas web site.
